Original works by Cosondra Sjostrom are available through direct studio acquisition, client-inspired abstract portraits, and commissions. Available inventory, and high-resolution detail photography are provided upon inquiry.
Collecting Cosondra Sjostrom means acquiring a defining work from an emerging voice actively shaping contemporary abstraction. Because each painting requires dense impasto layering, excavation, and structural refinement, annual studio output is strictly limited.
Every acquisition carries rarity, and long-term significance. Sjostrom synthesizes the emotional depth of Color Field (Mark Rothko), the gestural vitality of Abstract Expressionism (Joan Mitchell, Hans Hofmann), the layered materiality of contemporary abstraction (Gerhard Richter, Mark Bradford). She channels these traditions into a distinctive practice of Existential Abstraction via Psychological Abstraction and Abstract Portraiture.

1. Artist Studio Works
Unfiltered Emotional Abstractions Direct studio paintings exploring personal memory, quantum thresholds, and emotional archaeology. Available inventory, studio portfolio, and high-resolution detail photography are provided upon inquiry.
2. Client-Inspired Abstract Legacy Portraits
Works Created in Dialogue. Only a few collectors are invited each year to serve as a muse for an abstract legacy portrait. Each piece begins with a confidential dialogue, from which Cosondra distills emotional resonance, biographical traces, and unspoken currents into a custom non-representational composition.
Format: 24" × 48" in acrylic on heavy canvas.
Slots: Offered seasonally by inquiry or referral.
3. On-Location Residencies
By invitation, Cosondra travels to a collector’s home or estate to create custom works informed directly by the architecture, light, and atmosphere of the space.
