Private Viewing Requests

Private viewings of Cosondra Sjostrom’s work are available by appointment for serious collectors, art advisors, curators, and institutions.

Sessions are held in the studio or a designated viewing space, offer direct engagement with the paintings in natural light, revealing the full depth of surface texture, chromatic shifts, and emotional presence that photography cannot fully convey.

During traveling art residencies, a borrowed exhibition piece or a work in progress may occasionally be available for viewing, providing a unique window into the artist’s process while a painting is still evolving.

Viewings typically include:

• Discussion of the specific Abstract Portrait and its originating conversation with the muse or collector

• Exploration of the layers, scraping, and resurfacing techniques that define the work’s emotional and material depth

• Broader context within the development of Existential Abstraction, Psychological Abstraction, and Abstract Portraiture

Because most works are created as private time-capsule pieces destined for individual collections, private viewings offer a rare opportunity to experience this focused body of work. Availability is intentionally limited and scheduled thoughtfully to honor the studio practice and the integrity of each piece.
